PHORCYS III Immersion Suit

The Phorcys Suit-III is crafted from a neoprene foam composite material with glued seams, ensuring high durability and waterproofing, this suit is designed to be worn with an additional life-jacket. A watertight zipper provides a secure seal for waterproof and thermal insulation performance. In tests, the wearer’s body temperature decreased by no more than 2°C after 6 hours of immersion in water temperatures of 0-2°C. Product Performance Parameters The suit withstands extreme temperatures, with no damage or degradation observed after 10 test cycles alternating between -30°C and 65°C. Test subjects were able to don the immersion suit independently within 2 minutes in calm water at temperatures between 0°C and 2°C, even after extended exposure to -30°C. After 24 hours of immersion, wearers’ body temperatures remained within 2°C of their baseline. Design: Self-supporting buoyancy, suitable for use without a life jacket. Gloves: Three-finger neoprene gloves for added dexterity and insulation. Each suit complies fully with SOLAS requirements, including all current amendments. Once manufactured, each unit undergoes a rigorous air-tightness test to ensure performance standards are met before packaging and distribution.
